One of the greatest empowering experiences is establishing two-way communication with a horse.  At Texas Charm School & Cowboy College all students are instructed in how to establish this type of communication both on the ground and in the saddle.  Our horsemanship lessons begin on the ground where students are taught how to bond with a horse, which can be seen when the horse latches on to the student as herd boss.  In additional lessons, students learn how to de-sensitize and sensitize horses through a variety of activities.  By the time students begin to ride, open communication is established between horse and rider, and the rider is in control.  Through horsemanship on the ground, Texas Charm School & Cowboy College students have more confidence in themselves and their horse.
